The indicator of providing children with preschool education in the region reached 75 % when this indicator across Ukraine makes 57 %. It was discussed during the college of Main Board on Science and Education of Regional State Administration about results of work of bodies on management of education in 2009 and the task of development of this branch for 2010. The Vice-Chairman of Regional State Administration Evgeniy Borodin, chiefs of boards and departments on education of cities and departments, members of presidium of board of directors of high educational institutions of I-II level of accreditation, directors of professional institutions and education institutions of regional subordination took part in its work.
As the Chief of Main Board on Science and Education of Regional State Administration Victor Sychenko noted, for maintenance of equal access of children to quality preschool education for last three years were renewed the work of 18 kindergartens.
An indicator of providing of pupils from 10-11 classes with profile education has grown in 2009 on 12 %. Now it makes 85 %. 20 educational districts were created in addition through which over 5 thousand pupils were involved in profile education.
100 % pupils of 1-4 classes and pupils of preferential categories of general educational institutions of the region were provided by all kinds of food. Providing with all kinds of food of pupils of 1-11 classes increased till 91 %, including hot food – up to 70 %.
As it was marked during the college, the work on computerisation of schools goes on. Up to 98 % increased the provision of general educational institutions with computer complexes, 86 % of schools are connected to Internet network. Now the computerisation of rural educational institutions is completed. It was established over 13 thousand electronic software of study from 23 subjects of the curriculum; over 20 thousand teachers of general educational disciplines passed corresponding computer courses.
According to Evgeniy Borodin, today conditions for equal access to a quality education of all participants of educational and educational process are created.
