From activity of SE „Eastern Mining Concentrating Combine" 174.5 million UAH arrived into budget of Dnipropetrovs'k region. It was discussed in Zhovty Vody during a meeting concerning work results of 2009 year with the assistance of the Vice-Chairman of Regional State Administration Victor Sergeev, Chairman of Atom Professional Association of Ukraine Valeriy Matov, the management and workers of the enterprise.
As Victor Sergeev noted, 2009 year despite of consequences of financial and economic crisis was successful enough for the enterprise. So, profits grew on 16 %, industrial output made 1 billion 44 million UAH, capital investments grew and make 337.4 million or 235 % from previous year. Also 180 million UAH of own means were directed (almost twice more than last year). The average wages at the enterprise make 3 thousand 219 UAH, that is on 2.9 % more than last year.
As a whole on this budget making enterprise for Zhovty Vody falls out 1 % of industrial production of the region.
According to the Vice-Chairman of Regional State Administration positive changes in enterprise activity have taken place in 2008, namely after appointment Alexander Sorokin as general director who applied effective management on «Easten MCC».
Development of the main enterprise of nuclear-fuel cycle which occurs in Ukraine on performance of corresponding decisions of the Government of Julia Tymoshenko, is under especial attention of the Chairman of Regional State Administration Victor Bondar.

SE „Eastern Mountain Concentrating Combine" is the unique enterprise in Ukraine on extraction and processing of uranium. It is the greatest enterprise in Europe. It enters into ten greatest manufactures of uranium in the world; its particle in world extraction of uranium makes 2 %.
„Eastern MCC" provides 30-35 % of requirement of atomic power stations in Ukraine in fresh nuclear fuel and the nuclear-fuel cycle begins from this enterprise.
