In 2009 in Dnipropetrovs’k region the quantity of death cases on manufacture decreased on 50 %. It is on 33 cases less, than in 2008. On 253 cases, or on 25 % decreased the quantity of industrial traumas.

Such results of work were summed on the expanded council of territorial department of State mining industrial inspection in Dnipropetrovs’k region. The Chairman of State Committee of Ukraine on industrial safety, labour safety and mining supervision Sergiy Storchak and the Vice-Chairman of Regional State Administration Victor Sergeev took part in its work.

«To save up a life on manufacture and to reduce quantities of traumas it was possible only thanks to complex actions of State mining industrial inspection and regional power, - noted the Chief territorial department of State mining industrial inspection in Dnipropetrovs’k region Anatoly Kozhushko. - In particular, in 2009 the task was to concentrate the main attention on checks of the enterprises with high degree of risk. Also today the Program of improvement of safety and hygiene of work and the industrial environment in Dnipropetrovs’k region for 2008-2011 years effectively operates. It gives the chance to form the system approach for the decision of problems of industrial and labour safety».

All it allows to reduce risks not only for workers of the enterprises, and also for inhabitants of the region. Therefore on the instructions of the Chairman of Regional State Administration Victor Bondar such programs were developed and accepted in all cities and districts of the region».

Despite the compared reduction of quantity of accidents in Ukraine and Dnipropetrovs’k region in 2009, for many branches of manufacture the urgency of questions on industrial and labour safety, creation of safe working conditions at the enterprises does not decrease. First of all it concerns the enterprises where was the growth of industrial traumatism. In particular, it is in the chemical industry, objects of manufacture of explosives, the food-processing industry, and railway transportation. Increase of quantity of injured at the enterprises was fixed in Krasnogvardiys’kyy district of Dnipropetrovs’k, in cities Kryvyy Rig, Pavlograd, and also in Dnipropetrovs’k district.

According to Sergiy Storchak territorial department of State mining industrial inspection in Dnipropetrovs’k region following the results of 2009 year is recognised the best in Ukraine.
